FOW partnership to give Sharks extra drive
A rugby club has secured a major new car partnership.
Sale Sharks have teamed up with FOW Car Supermarket, the family-run dealership with showrooms in Winsford, Cheshire and Trafford, Manchester, as the Gallagher Premiership club’s Official Car Retail Partner for the next three seasons.
Officials say the deal will see the FOW logo featured on the sleeve of the men’s and women’s 2025/26 Macron kits, while the North Stand at Salford Stadium will be rebranded as the FOW Stand.
They add that fans attending the opening home fixture against Gloucester on September 25 will be entered into a prize draw to win a car.
Luisa d’Aprano, commercial director at Sale Sharks, said: “FOW Car Supermarket is one of the most recognisable businesses and brands in the North.
“It’s a business with family at its core and I’m so excited to see what we can achieve together over the next three years and, hopefully, beyond.
“It’s so important for us to work alongside businesses that share our values and that is very clearly the case with John and his fantastic team.
“I know fans are going to love what we’ve got planned for matchdays.”
The partnership also includes half-time activations such as the ‘FOW Power Kick,’ and exclusive offers for season ticket holders.
John Ford, director at FOW Car Supermarket, which has over 1600 nearly new and used vehicles and recently expanded its Manchester branch to 700 cars, added: “It’s an exciting time for everyone at FOW.
“Alongside our recently announced expansion in Manchester, I’m delighted to share we've partnered with the amazing team at Sale Sharks.
“Our shared goals cascade throughout every level of the business and I couldn’t be happier to support a club that shares our values to succeed.”
