Clearpoint strengthens board with senior finance hire
Yorkshire-based recycling and waste management company Clearpoint Recycling has appointed Jason Crooks as group finance director and board member.
Specialising in sustainable recycling, Clearpoint works with businesses to source locally and sell globally, reducing waste and supporting the transition to a circular economy.
Over the past year, the company has expanded its international client base, opened a sales office in Lithuania and secured new long-term contracts.
Jason brings over 14 years of finance experience and a decade as an ACA chartered accountant, with a career spanning BDO, KPMG, Redcentric and most recently IDHL Group, where he supported multi-divisional operations and led the integration of acquisitions.
In his new role, Jason will work with Clearpoint’s leadership team to strengthen financial governance, drive strategic initiatives, embed data-led decision-making and build infrastructure for scalable growth.
He said: “Clearpoint Recycling unites purpose and performance and I’m excited to bring my financial leadership to an ambitious, values-driven team making a real impact in the circular economy.
“It’s an exciting time to join, and I’m energised by the challenge of helping Clearpoint achieve its goals.”
Jason’s appointment supports the company’s plan to reach £20 million turnover by 2026 while reinforcing its commitment to sustainable expansion.
Mark Garrett, managing director at Clearpoint Recycling, added: “Jason’s track record in supporting ambitious, fast-growing businesses makes him a perfect fit for us.
“We’re entering an exciting period of expansion, and his strategic and commercial insight will be invaluable in ensuring we not only meet our financial targets but also enhance our impact in the recycling sector.”
