MBL Solutions boosts operations team with promotions
Newcastle-based MBL Solutions has promoted two key members of its operations staff.
Shannon McCollum, who joined the retail gift card specialist in 2019, steps up from finance and operations manager to head of operations.
She said: “I’m delighted to take on the role of head of operations and look forward to building on my six years with MBL by taking on more responsibility and developing my leadership skills.”
Meanwhile, Hannah Simpson has been promoted from operations administrator to operations manager, reporting to Shannon.
MBL Solutions is one of the UK’s leading providers of physical and digital gift card products, working across both B2B and B2C sectors.
The company supports major retail clients including B&M, Greggs, Schuh and New Look.
Alexis Matheson, director of MBL Solutions, part of the PayPoint Group PLC, said: “I am delighted both Shannon and Hannah have been recognised for their excellent contribution to the operations department and wider business with these well-deserved promotions.
“MBL Solutions and the branded retail gift market continues to grow at a very encouraging rate, with the value of gift cards processed by MBL doubling in the last year.”
