NFU Energy powers on with service expansion
An energy consultancy has expanded operations.
NFU Energy has launched new services to support commercial landlords and manufacturers across the East and West Midlands.
Bosses say the move will help operators improve energy management against a backdrop of “increasing pressures to reduce costs and ever more ambitious ESG targets”.
The new services include NFU Energy Metering and Monitoring, which officials say will span meter installations to energy management services.
It will be supported by NFU Energy Tailored Contracts, earmarked to help commercial operators better manage a property portfolio’s energy contracts and manufacturers better navigate market rate volatility.
Lisa Howkins, sales and marketing director at NFU Energy – which operates within the wider National Farmers’ Union – said: “We’ve helped thousands of British farmers drive energy efficiency, generate income and reduce their carbon footprint.
“We’re now delighted to bring our proven technologies and practical approach to the commercial property and manufacturing sectors.
“With increased volatility in energy costs, and the move by businesses to better manage their carbon footprint, these services are increasingly important.”
