Newcastle printer expands across the Atlantic
A Newcastle-based online printing company is expanding into the US market.
Printed.com has officially launched its services across all 50 states, marking a major step in the company’s growth strategy.
The expansion follows over £1 million of investment in new technology and the addition of a third production facility earlier this year.
Founded in 2011, Printed.com has built a strong reputation in the UK for professional printing solutions.
International traffic now accounts for more than two per cent of total visits, prompting the company to meet rising demand from global customers.
The US platform partners with leading local printers to offer over 50 products, including business cards, brochures, flyers and wedding stationery.
These cover roughly 70 per cent of Printed.com’s UK product range, produced using advanced printing technology and premium materials.
Customers can expect the same high-quality standards supported by rigorous quality control processes.
Reliable delivery across the US is ensured through top-tier courier services, with flexible options to suit different needs.
Printed.com also continues its sustainability efforts, offering plastic-free and whitelabel packaging.
Rob Haycock, chief executive of Printed.com, said: “Launching in the US marks an exciting milestone for Printed.com.
“After years of refining our print platform and integration tools, we’ve developed robust support for multi-tenancy and multi-currency.
“This has allowed us to roll out our Printed.com US-specific ecommerce offering in record time.”
Simon Dunn, managing director of Printed.com, added: “Our goal is to become one of the leading printing partners for small businesses and wedding customers across the US, utilising the skills and experience gained from over ten years of ecommerce web-print experience and almost 40 years of print heritage.
“We’ve long believed that our brand and approach will resonate internationally and can’t wait to bring it to the American market.”
Looking ahead, the company plans to establish a US-based workforce in 2026, reinforcing its long-term commitment to the American market.
For now, all client-facing operations remain managed from Newcastle, leveraging Printed.com’s technology platform to streamline ordering, provide real-time pricing and enable transparent delivery tracking.
With this expansion, Printed.com is set to bring its combination of product range, personalised support and print expertise to a new international audience, aiming to redefine printing excellence across the Atlantic.
Chris McShane, marketing and product director at Printed.com, added: “We’re delighted to support the retail, hospitality, small business sectors and designers, as well as direct consumers, with our US launch.
“These vibrant industries thrive on impactful print – whether it’s striking signage to welcome guests, beautifully designed menus and essential marketing materials, or elegantly crafted wedding stationery.
“Our mission is to help everyone, from entrepreneurs to couples, bring their visions to life.
“We’re also collaborating with trusted US partners to expand our product range and finishes further, ensuring we continue to meet the diverse needs of our customers.”
