CHANCE Cider shakes up alcohol-free market

A cider brand is set to expand after securing significant investment.

CHANCE Cider, the UK’s first brand dedicated exclusively to non-alcoholic cider, has raised over £200,000 in its SEIS funding round, following a strong first year of trading. 

Bosses say the investment brings together a team of advisors and investors with deep experience in drinks, FMC and SME growth sectors, designed to help the brand scale sustainably.

As part of its growth strategy, industry veteran Gareth Bath, formerly of Distill Ventures, BrewDog, and Curious Drinks, has joined CHANCE as co-pilot and strategic advisor, bringing extensive expertise in brand building and scaling drinks businesses.

Gareth said: “What excites me about CHANCE is how closely the brand has listened.

“CHANCE has been built from the ground up with the non-alcoholic cider drinker in mind, and it’s meeting a real need. 

“I’m looking forward to helping the team build a brand that can stand proudly alongside the best in the no- and low-alcohol drinks space.”

Produced by Aston Manor Cider Makers from 100 per cent British apples, CHANCE has already secured distribution in over 700 bars and venues, including Prezzo Italian, and achieved strong online growth on Amazon, selling more than 200 cases monthly and ranking in the Top 25 in cider.

With the UK cider market worth £3 billion and non-alcoholic options underrepresented – only around 33 per cent of pubs offer a non-alcoholic cider – CHANCE is poised to lead the category, closing the gap for mindful drinkers seeking alcohol-free alternatives while accelerating its national presence and brand growth.
