Wonderland appoints new board director
Independent creative communications agency Wonderland has appointed Manchester-based Laura Perry as board director, strengthening its leadership team as the Bristol-headquartered agency continues to expand nationwide.
Laura brings nearly 20 years of experience in brand strategy and purpose-led communications, having previously served as head of growth at Tangerine.
A Women in PR board member, she is a long-standing advocate for equal opportunities and regional talent.
Laura said: “What drew me to Wonderland is their curious, kind and inclusive spirit – bold creativity rooted in understanding, not ego.
“Their ‘don’t be a dick’ ethos isn’t just a saying; it’s how they operate. I’m excited to open up more brilliant brands and people to Wonderland.”
Laura’s appointment reflects Wonderland’s belief that hybrid working enables broader collaboration and access to diverse expertise across the UK.
It follows a strong period of momentum for the B Corp agency, which has recently added Aardman and Gong Cha to a growing client list that includes Heinz, Lindt, Thatchers and Mattel.
Managing director Rich Gundry added: “Laura was the obvious choice for this role.
“She brings deep experience, strong values and a genuine growth mindset that match our ambitions perfectly.
“Our goal has always been to grow while staying true to our values – and Laura's appointment takes that to the next level.”
