ZyroFisher appoints new senior marketing manager
Darlington-based outdoor and cycling distributor ZyroFisher has appointed Zoe Brookes as senior marketing manager to support the growth of its UK and international brand portfolio, including its own Altura range.
Zoe brings more than twenty-five years’ marketing experience, including over a decade with Pentland Brands at the Brasher Boot Company, alongside senior roles at Mobile Mini, OASIS Floral Products and construction firm Merit.
She will lead a team of four and work closely with chief commercial officer Nadine Thompson, with further recruitment planned.
Zoe said: “Joining ZyroFisher is a great opportunity for me.
“The business aligns so well with my own passion for the outdoors, and I love working for, and growing, premium, market leading brands.
“Our portfolio ticks all of those boxes and I think it’s great to have a company in the North East that does that so well.
“I am looking forward to growing and developing our effective marketing team.
“Together, we’ll build the ZyroFisher brand and all of the names in our portfolio.
“I’m particularly looking forward to supporting Altura, which has some exciting plans for the future that need sustained and dynamic marketing support.”
Celebrating its 30th anniversary in 2025, ZyroFisher operates from a 100,000sq ft bonded warehouse in Darlington, distributing more than 28,500 product lines with next-day delivery across the UK and efficient options for Europe.
Nadine Thompson, chief commercial officer at ZyroFisher, added: “We’re delighted to welcome Zoe to our team.
“She combines deep experience with genuine passion for her profession, and the sports and outdoor sectors.
“That’s exactly what we need at ZyroFisher as we continue to evolve and expand the business in what continues to be a rapidly changing marketplace.
“Zoe will bring valuable insights and new perspectives from her broad and deep experience, and will also play a key role in helping ZyroFisher to connect in an authentic way with a female target audience, which has historically been underserved in the industries within which we operate.”
