O.agency celebrates milestone with award win

A North East marketing agency is celebrating a landmark year with fresh industry recognition and renewed momentum.

Newcastle-headquartered O.agency has been named ‘Large North East Agency of the Year’ at the North East Marketing Awards, rounding off its 20th anniversary with one of the ceremony’s top accolades. 

The business also secured Best Campaign (over £50,000) for its work on Darlington Building Society’s ‘We Did That’ brand campaign, which generated more than £19 million in new savings deposits.

Acting as lead creative, communications and activation agency, O.agency brought together regional partners including Waterfall, SD Advertising, Route and MMC Research to deliver the multi-channel campaign.

Judges praised the agency for a standout year, highlighting the launch of its Original Thinking services, sustained client success and two decades of contribution to the region’s marketing sector.

They also recognised the impact of O.agency’s GrOw youth programme, which links students, educators and industry professionals to offer real-world learning and mentoring opportunities across the North East’s creative industries.
