West Yorkshire agency rebrands as Animo PR
A West Yorkshire communications agency has unveiled a new identity to reflect its evolving national role.
Ilkley-based Anita Morris Associates has rebranded as Animo PR, a move that is designed to better reflect the scale, ambition and nature of its work across arts and culture, regeneration and place-based transformation.
The new name blends founder Anita Morris’ initials with the Latin word animo, meaning ‘with spirit, mind and intention’, capturing the agency’s long-standing approach to shaping narratives and building trusted reputations.
Anita said: “Animo PR reflects our strategic evolution as we approach 27 years in business working on complex cultural, civic and regeneration projects.
“The agency has been shaped by a strong and talented team, and the name grows directly out of the history of Anita Morris Associates, whilst reflecting who we are today and the values that continue to define our work as we mark a new chapter for the company.”
Animo PR works across earned media, digital and social communications, supporting organisations navigating complex public conversations and engaging audiences across multiple platforms.
Its services span media relations, digital strategy, content creation and public-facing campaigns.
Founded more than 25 years ago, the agency’s leadership, team and client focus remain unchanged.
It continues to work with national and regional clients including Heatherwick Studio, ECF and the West Yorkshire Local Visitor Economy Partnership, alongside long-term cultural and regeneration projects such as Bradford 2025 UK City of Culture and The Piece Hall.
