Connect It expands South West team
Utility services provider Connect It Utility Services has strengthened its regional presence with the appointment of Roger Markham as business development manager for the South West.
Roger joins the business in a newly created role, marking Connect It’s continued expansion into one of the UK’s key growth regions.
Based in Bristol, he will lead the company’s growth strategy across the South West, focusing primarily on the housebuilding sector alongside selected commercial opportunities.
He brings more than 20 years’ experience across the built environment, having held senior commercial roles with businesses including Marshalls, Heras and Broxap.
His background includes extensive work with local authorities, main contractors and major housebuilders.
Roger said: “Joining Connect It is an exciting new chapter for me.
“I’ve spent over two decades working in the built environment, and the South West has always been my heartland.
“The region is full of potential, and with the business now committed to establishing a permanent presence here, the opportunity for accelerated growth is huge.
“I’m looking forward to reconnecting with long-standing contacts, building new partnerships and helping to drive Connect It’s expansion across Bristol, Somerset and the wider area.”
Roger’s appointment builds on strong performance in the central southern region and establishes a consistent on-the-ground presence in the South West as Connect It continues to broaden its customer base and support future growth.
Laban Giles, managing director at Connect It Utility Services, added: “Roger’s arrival comes at an extremely positive time for the business as we invest in wider territories and strengthen our national footprint.
“The South West represents a significant growth opportunity, and Roger’s experience, regional insight and connections across the construction and housebuilding sectors align with our objectives to drive the business forward in this expanding market.
“We are delighted to welcome him to the team.”
