Bentry Capital appoints sale manager
Bentry Capital has appointed James Oldershaw as sales manager to lead the residential sales strategy at Angel Village, its £100 million flagship development in Islington, ahead of the scheme’s official sales launch this spring.
James will work in-house alongside appointed agents CBRE and Savills at the Zone 1 development on City Road, which will deliver 130 design-led one, two and three-bedroom apartments.
Phase one comprises 88 homes, with prices starting from £575,000.
The gated scheme will include a concierge, private gardens and secure underground parking.
James joins from JLL, where he led sales at Ghelamco’s HiLight scheme in Battersea, completing more than £30 million in transactions during 2025.
He previously worked at Foxtons, specialising in new homes and investment sales.
James will work closely with Bentry Capital’s national director of sales and marketing David Ronson and sales associate Francesca Davies as the business prepares to bring Angel Village to market.
James said: “Joining Bentry Capital is a fantastic opportunity and I am thrilled to be working alongside David Ronson and Francesca Davies again.
“With London experiencing a tumultuous sales market over the last few years, it’s essential to have a sales team that works seamlessly together to help buyers find their dream home.
“Bentry Capital has a diverse portfolio and I am honoured to be leading on Angel Village, the most exciting Zone 1 launch for London this year.”
David added: “I am delighted that James Oldershaw is joining our team at Bentry Capital.
“Angel Village is our first London scheme to come to the market and we want the strongest team in place for our official sales launch this spring.
“I was instrumental in James’ hiring in his former role and was impressed with his driven, dynamic sales attitude, so I sought him out to complete the sales team we are building at Bentry Capital.”
