Tribes appoints chief commercial officer
Manchester-based AI-first development consulting business Tribes has appointed Paul Green as chief commercial officer, strengthening its executive team following a year of record growth.
Paul joins the business with extensive experience scaling technology and professional services companies, including helping to grow Godel to around £80 million in revenue and leading several private equity-backed tech businesses.
He brings a strong track record of driving commercial growth across mid-market and enterprise clients.
In his new role, Paul will lead Tribes’ global commercial strategy, overseeing sales, partnerships, pricing and go-to-market activity as the company looks to accelerate growth through 2026.
Paul said: “Tribes has built something genuinely impressive – strong foundations, a clear sense of purpose, and a cutting-edge delivery model that clients trust.
“With record performance in 2025 and major client wins already in place, the platform for growth is clear.
“I’m excited to help shape the next phase of the company’s commercial journey.”
David Elkabas, managing director of Tribes, added: “This appointment is about intent.
“We’re investing in senior leadership to match the scale of opportunity in front of us.
“Paul understands how to grow responsibly, align teams, and turn momentum into long-term value for clients and partners.”
Tribes delivers software development and AI-led technology services to enterprise and innovation-led organisations, working with permanent delivery teams to support complex digital transformation projects.
Bruce Thomas, founder of Tribes, added: “Paul brings exactly the kind of commercial leadership we need at this stage of our journey.
“We’ve seen strong momentum and record results in 2025, and Paul’s experience will help us build on that success in a focused and sustainable way.”
