ARC Building Solutions hires sales head
Leeds-based passive fire protection and insulation specialist ARC Building Solutions has appointed Steve Tanner as head of sales and specification, strengthening its senior commercial team.
Steve joins the business with more than 25 years’ experience driving growth across the construction and automotive sectors.
In his new role, he will focus on expanding ARC’s national presence across merchants and distributors, while supporting technical sales teams across the UK.
He brings extensive expertise in external wall systems, cavity insulation, loft systems and new build solutions, alongside a strong track record in technical sales, account management and national team leadership.
Steve said: “ARC has a strong reputation for innovation and customer-focused solutions, and I look forward to working closely with our clients and helping drive further growth.
“It’s an exciting time for the business, and I’m proud to contribute to delivering safer homes and buildings through our excellent product offering.”
Steve’s appointment follows recent investment from LDC, part of Lloyds Banking Group, as ARC Building Solutions continues to invest in production capacity, systems and commercial capability to support its growth plans across the built environment sector.
Aaron Sharp, director of sales and specification at ARC, added: "Steve brings a wealth of experience and insight to the role, and we are confident he will make a significant impact.
“At ARC, we go beyond manufacturing products – we’re all about solving challenges, providing expert support, and delivering real value.
“Steve’s perspective and energy will help us strengthen that commitment.”
