AVANTGARDE bolsters senior team
Brand experience agency AVANTGARDE has strengthened its senior leadership team with the appointment of Richie Gage as head of live, alongside the promotion of Alex Faulkner and Sandra Perriot to its senior leadership team.
Richie joins AVANTGARDE with more than 20 years’ experience delivering live and experiential campaigns for global brands including Netflix, Airbnb, Nike, Google, Pinterest, PlayStation and Lego.
In his new role, he will lead the agency’s live offering, overseeing delivery capability and shaping its approach to large-scale brand experiences.
Prior to joining AVANTGARDE, Richie was managing partner at Bearded Kitten, where he supported the agency’s growth and delivery operations, following more than a decade at Amplify in senior leadership roles.
Earlier in his career, he held client-side roles at Selfridges and MTV.
Richie said: “I’m super happy to join the team at AVANTGARDE and have been a fan of their work for several years.
“I’ve seen the plans Rachel and the team have for this next chapter, and it is an incredibly exciting time to come on board.”
Alongside Richie’s appointment, Alex Faulkner has been promoted to client services lead, reflecting his role in growing and retaining key accounts since joining the agency in 2023.
Sandra Perriot also steps into the role of strategy lead, having played a central role in shaping strategic direction across clients and AVANTGARDE’s Voices trends events series.
The trio join AVANTGARDE’s existing senior leadership team as the agency continues to invest in leadership depth and delivery capability following its 40th anniversary.
