MET Recruitment launches new professional division
Fast-growing recruitment agency MET Recruitment has expanded its offer with the launch of a new professional division, led by industry expert Lynn Campbell.
The new division will provide temporary and permanent recruitment across professional services, HR, finance and procurement, broadening MET’s support for clients seeking a more personalised alternative to larger agencies.
Based out of the group’s Dudley and Tamworth offices, the professional division will offer interim and permanent recruitment, executive search and headhunting, alongside consultancy support to help shape roles and secure the right talent.
Candidates will also benefit from job and interview mentoring, as well as proactive opportunity sourcing for mid to senior professionals.
The move builds on MET Recruitment’s strong performance in industrial and logistics recruitment, where the business has established a reputation for tailored, relationship-led delivery.
Lynn, who boasts more than 30 years’ experience, said: “There is massive potential to bring a new professional services offering to the market, and that’s what really attracted me to this opportunity.
“Recruiting for professional services, HR and finance staff is completely unique and requires an in-depth partnership with the client, so you understand their culture and what they need from a candidate.
“This emphasis on relationship will be at the core of how we will shape the MET approach.
“The ambition is to build a £1 million-plus professional division, supported by a dedicated team of three to four consultants by the end of the year.
“There’s already strong commercial expertise within the wider business, which will be critical to achieving this growth.”
Lynn added: “Professional services, procurement, HR and finance will be our initial focus, but there are already plans in place to look at how we can diversify into supplying specialists in IT and sales and marketing.
“I’ll be based out of both our Black Country and Staffordshire offices, although our focus is definitely on offering a national service.
“There has been a lot of investment ploughed into this launch – we want to be a serious alternative for companies looking for a more personalised service, backed up by decades of recruitment experience.”
The new division launches with access to an existing pool of more than 100 professional candidates.
MET Recruitment, which employs 23 people, enjoyed a strong 2025 and expects the expansion to support further growth, with plans to increase headcount to 30 by the end of the year.
Matthew Hunter, director at MET Recruitment, added: “Attracting Lynn is a big coup for us and gives us a dedicated specialist to lead the launch and growth of our professional offer.
“Her three decades of experience in placing interim and permanent staff means she arrives with a massive contact book that we can explore.
“Importantly, she also shares the same customer-first principles that the company was founded on.”
