Wellbeing app aims to put a smile on stress
A Manchester healthcare professional has launched a digital wellbeing platform designed to help users lift their mood in under four minutes.
Radismile, created by dental surgeon Dr Paul Pantiru, offers short audio sessions built around micro-smiling cues, breathwork and nervous-system regulation.
Structured through a four-step framework, the app guides users through three-and-a-half-minute “emotional supplements” aimed at interrupting stress and emotional fatigue.
Designed to fit easily into daily routines, sessions can be used alongside habits such as brushing teeth, reinforcing the link between facial tension, breathing and emotional state identified through Dr Pantiru’s clinical experience.
Dr Pantiru said: “Working in dentistry, I spent years watching how emotion shows up physically in the face and body.
“A stressed person doesn’t just feel different, their breath, expression and nervous system change.
“Radismile was designed to help people gently regulate that state in minutes, without needing long meditation sessions or prior experience.”
The app also includes mood tracking, personalised “smile rituals” and a community feature.
Self-funded to date, Radismile is now exploring partnerships with health and workplace wellbeing providers and is available globally on iOS and Android.
