NET 250: Revealing the top 250 businesses across the region
NET is proud to launch NET 250. Researched by Newcastle University Business School and verified by professional services firm PwC, the high-profile campaign will showcase the top 250 businesses across the region – from the Scottish Borders to the Tees Valley – ranked by turnover.
Compiled from publicly available data, with information taken from Companies House accounts and company websites, NET 250 will shine a spotlight on the businesses powering our region’s growth.
NET 250 will list the region’s top 250 businesses by turnover, with the company holding the highest figure crowned the North East’s number one organisation.
However, NET 250 will also honour the companies making great strides in their respective sub-regions, with awards for the companies with highest turnover across each of Northumberland, North Tyneside, South Tyneside, Sunderland, Durham and Tees Valley.
Further accolades will focus on the top privately-owned business, the top equity-backed business and the most recently founded company.
