Change is sweeping across the North East. From its historic devolution power grab to commercial advances primed to shape tomorrow’s world, ours is a region on the move. And North East Times (NET) is helping lead the charge. Through our flagship VISION 31 campaign – spearheaded by a programme of high-level roundtable discussions – we have created a blueprint to supercharge North East industrial and economic growth across the next decade.
And over the course of 2025, we will expand VISION 31 regionally and nationally, taking it – and the region’s powerhouse business community – to the City and beyond.
Focusing on the area’s two mayoral-led regeneration bodies, its ground-breaking manufacturers, its thriving digital sector, its healthcare innovators, scaling entrepreneurs and the companies driving the net-zero agenda, three headline summits VISION 31 will spotlight the North East – and its place at the forefront of pioneering transformation – to new and influential audiences.
Panel events during 2025 will take place in Sunderland, Tees Valley and London, and will show the North East is ready to lead another industrial and commercial era, just as it did with coal mining, shipbuilding and the iron and steel that helped forge the world.
