Newcastle Financial Advisers announces expansion to operational support team

Newcastle Financial Advisers, the Financial Advice arm of Newcastle Building Society, has expanded its operational support team leading its head office functions in response to growing demand for its face-to-face financial advice services on the High Street.

Beth Muir and Beth Hunter already have a combined 23 years-experience in financial services within the Newcastle Building Society Group. Beth Muir undertakes the firm’s Operations Team Leader role, while Beth Hunter enters the newly created position of Paraplanning Team Leader.

Newcastle Financial Advisers provides accessible advice on investment, retirement, inheritance tax planning and protection advice across the North East, Cumbria and North Yorkshire.

Beth Muir, Operations Team Leader at Newcastle Financial Advisers, commented: “Since joining the Society in 2012 I’ve had the opportunity to work across a wide range of departments, with various customer service, support and leadership roles.

“Since moving into my position, I now have further opportunity to bring my breadth of experience to help support our Financial Advisers and facilitate the growth of our Financial Advice division through the Operations function of the business.”

Beth Hunter, Paraplanning Team Leader at Newcastle Financial Advisers, said: “Having worked as a Financial Adviser at Newcastle Building Society’s Morpeth branch previously, I’m aware of the increasing demand for high-quality, trustworthy Financial Advice that people are looking for.

“In my new role I look forward to supporting our growing team of advisers in achieving our ambition of providing financial help and support to a greater number of customers across more locations and communities in the North over the coming years.”
