1) Online Guru Visits Northumbria
Northumbria University plays host to ‘one of the greatest digerati’ on Wednesday (15 February 2006).Molly Holzschlag is an author, web-designer and teacher, and has written over 30 books on the subject of web design and development.

She will be at Northumbria University’s Northumberland Building between 5 and 7 pm to give a presentation on how she sees web standards contributing to improving the usability of websites.
The visit is at the invitation NEUA (North-East Usability & Accessibility group). NEUA is a collaborative group made up from four universities: Northumbria, Sunderland, Teesside, Newcastle and local industries (www.codeworksnitro.net/news/neuagroupinaugural).Attendance at the NEUA meeting, which starts at 5.30pm in Room 149 of the Northumberland Building, is free but booking is essential.
