Boyfriend risks own life to save partner's pet dog
A young man found his way into his girlfriend’s good books, and all it took was to wrestle with a 10-foot alligator in an attempt to save her beloved dog Chance from a grizzly and watery death. The Local 6 News in South Carolina reported that Brent Carey instinctively went to the dog’s rescue after being attacked at a lake side on a relaxing day out.Despite jumping on the alligator as it returned to the water with the dog in its jaws, Carey received only minor injuries, and more unbelievably, the dog escaped unharmed during the struggle. Carey says of the incident; “They informed me that I should not jump on the back of alligators. I agree with that. The take home message is not to jump on the back of a gator.”
