Flying the flag a little too much
A Wearside man has been ordered to curb his enthusiasm for the World Cup. BBC Online reports that William Hodgson from Kingsway, Houghton-le-Spring plastered the front of his house with dozens of England flags. It took him more than 3 weeks to put up all the flags, which he then had to take down after neighbours complained it made the street look untidy.
