Magic Books Could Help Prisoner Escape
A prisoner has been refused magic books as they may help him escape, reports BBC Online. Convicted murdered Shaun Tuley, incarcerated at HMP Frankland in County Durham, was not allowed to buy the magic books on grounds of ‘operational security problems’. Magic Circle spokesman David Beckley said: “The Prison Service should change their minds. “Having something objective which he can focus his mind on could actually help him become a model prisoner. It’s a great hobby.”
