New Chair To Maximise The Potential of Hadrian's Wall
Hadrian’s Wall has high hopes of developing into one of the world’s must-see visitor attractions with the appointment of a new Chairperson. Prominent Northern businesswoman Ann Green has taken the role, and brings with her a wealth of knowledge in the financial sector, as well as vast experience chairing several high-profile organisations.
Commenting on her new position, Ann said: “The potential for Hadrian’s Wall is enormous. It is one of the most historically significant Roman sites in the world. “Maximising the Wall’s economic potential will bring real, long-lasting benefits to communities along its length, as well as the North of England as a whole. “Through effective management of this culturally iconic landmark we can also ensure the wall is preserved for future generations to visit and enjoy.”
