OAP shoplifters: don't forget your dentures
A 70-year old shoplifter who tried to escape police by biting them failed his attempt - he forgot to put his teeth in. Ananova.com reports that Gustav Ernegger, from Germany, was grabbed by police as he tried to steal a shirt from a shop. As he was seized he bit the officer’s arm, but could only gum his arm and leave a wet patch. Police spokesman Gunther Brauner said: “He tried to bite the officer several times, but had forgotten to put his false teeth in and so was unable to cause him any harm.”
