Podcasting for businesses launched

A new service aimed at enabling companies to utilise the growing phenomenon of podcasting has been launched by Newcastle entrepreneur Steve Bainbridge. The man behind royalty-free music website www.beatsuite.com has launched Podcast Digital to help businesses use podcasting as part of their marketing and communications activities. www.podcastyourbusiness.co.uk offers companies a complete podcasting service, from on-site recording, sound mixing, editing, podcast creation, publishing, submission and even podcast hosting.Steve Bainbridge, Managing Director, said: “Podcasting is becoming an integral and accepted part of the marketing mix and companies large and small are utilising it as an effective communications mechanism. “A podcast is an audio file that can be downloaded from the Internet which can also contain images, links and even video footage. Podcast’s are a way of subscribing to audio content and once you have downloaded a podcast you can be automatically notified when a new episode is available. They are free to download. “We think our service is the first of its type to offer the full range of podcast services.”
