Prisoner Slims His Way To Freedom
It might sound like something from a Hollywood movie but a prisoner has reportedly gained his freedom after losing so much weight that he was able to squeeze through a gap in his cell. Ananova.com reports that Robert Cole, who was imprisoned in Australia, shed more than 3 stone before the breakout, taking his weight down from 12st to 8st 10lb. The prisoner then chiseled a gap between the wall and bars on his cell, which proved big enough for the escape from the hospital of Long Bay maximum security prison in Sydney. The public have now been put on the alert, while the security chief at the prison has been suspended.
