Sony PS3 ? worth its weight in?
The new Sony Playstation 3 was unveiled this week, and will be in the shops by Christmas to compete with Microsoft’s Xbox 360 and Nintendo’s Wii. It’s a pretty pricy machine that will probably cost between £341 and £425, depending whether you buy the 20GB or 60GB models. So, is it worth its weight in gold? Actually, no – gold is too cheap. However, the PS3 is worth its weight in Uranium - the radioactive materials are expected to hit about $54 a pound thanks to its popularity in terrorist circles. Whichever way you go, it’s a lot of money to blow away…
