(Toilet) brush with crime
A thief got himself in more trouble for stealing from a judge while in court, reports Australian newspaper news.com.au. The 61-year old German man pocketed a bunch of keys from the judge at the bench, who did not notice until he had left the room. When confronted by court officials in the toilet, the man admitted the theft, and showed them where he had hidden the keys – under a toilet brush. Police spokesman Bernhard Schmitt. “He’d been stealing all his life so it was probably just an intuitive act.”
