Two new bases for North East research firm
A North East business research consultancy has opened two new offices as part of its ambitious growth plans which will see it double staff numbers in 12 months. Acritas, which provides a range of research services to the professional and financial services sectors, was established in 2002 by Lisa Hart and currently employs twenty members of staff. The two new locations in London and New York will help the company to almost double in size this year with plans to create around five new jobs over the next twelve months.Lisa Hart, managing director of Acritas, commented: “The opening of both the London and New York offices are significant developments for Acritas as we continue to grow globally thanks to our international client base. “The London office was an absolute necessity to cope with our large number of clients who are themselves located in the City and also to accommodate our London-based employees.“Lisa added: “Large corporations are now shopping globally for the provision of specialist services, such as ours, and we have been working on a number of US-based projects for some time. Hence we launched our New York office, which will not only work for American businesses but will also help UK clients to launch or grow their operations in the US.”
