?Intimidating? six-year-old told to remove hood
A six-year-old boy was banned from wearing the hood of his school coat in case he intimidated people. Jack Johnson was told by a security guard at his local shopping centre to remove his hood or get out, says the Sun. Jack’s mum, Tracey, said: “I couldn’t believe it. It wasn’t even a hooded top but his school-issue coat. “This man was going to kick us out unless Jack took his hood off. Just how scary does a six-year-old look in his school coat?” The shopping centre has offered Jack gift vouchers as compensation. Jack himself said of the whole affair: “I thought it was silly.”
