Vampire Rabbit on the loose in the Toon
NewcastleGateshead’s Glow festival is promoting a little-known but profoundly weird feature of Newcastle’s city centre – the Vampire Rabbit. The rabbit can be found above the doorway of Cathedral Buildings next to St Nicholas’s Churchyard, and has inspired The Vampire Rabbit Trail as part of Glow. The carving has also lead to the unusual activities of a human-sized rabbit throughout the town – as can be seen here.
