The secret of financial independence
Successful business people who find that financial independence eludes them are being invited to take part in a new programme which will help them achieve their goals. Talent Den has been set up by North East entrepreneur George Heydon, who has run a number of innovative ventures to get people to reach their full potential.
Mr Heydon’s input was instrumental in the setting up of The Alchemists, which provides experienced entrepreneurial advice to companies and the intensive leadership programme Talent Engine. Talent Den has brought together highly successful and financially independent individuals who will be using their experience and skills to help business owners change their ways of working and achieve financial independence.
Mr Heydon said: “Too many entrepreneurs start good businesses but then allow them to drift into lifestyle companies. “Achievement of individual wealth is the only real measure of success for any business. “Our team of people have achieved financial independence and are therefore equipped with the mindset and expertise to enable other to achieve the same outcome.”
Mark Bulmer, director of North East agency CDM Recruitment, has taken part in Talent Den. He said: “What Talent Den has done for us is to provide a supported focus for the business. “We have been extremely successful in providing recruitment services for the construction industry but we got to the point where we felt we wanted someone from outside to have a look at what we were doing. “We have now found we have more time to look from a detached perspective which gives us a more realistic viewpoint. “It has been hugely beneficial to all of us.”
