Local representative for The Search
Local artist Suzie Devey-Humpleby of Hartlepool is set to star in reality television show The Search which goes on air this weekend. Suzie was selected from over 8000 applicants after seeing the opportunity publicised by the women’s networking organisation Women into the Network.
The contestants, who have been hailed as “Britain’s brightest and best” by the show, are from a variety of backgrounds. Suzie is a self-confessed treasure-hunting enthusiast with an MA in Tourism Management and a BA in Business Administration and runs her own company Red Hare which is based in The Innovation Centre in Hartlepool.
The Search is a new seven-part global treasure hunt series. The series, which starts on Sunday at 9pm on Channel 4, will follow ten contestants as they battle against each other to crack codes and unravel mysteries around the world. One of the contestants is eliminated in each episode. The final contestants complete their journey back in the UK for the last show of the series, where they compete for the £50,000 prize.
