Litterbug gets just desserts
Most people would agree that littering is a bad thing, but it is not often that a litterbug gets told off by another member of the public, and rarer still for the incident to be caught on camera.
This Youtube video shows Montreal residents Claude Landry and his friend Martin Thibaudeau testing out a new video camera, when they spot a driver emptying his car’s ashtray on the pavement. Mr Landry then scoops the ash up with his bare hands and deposits it in the driver’s lap, before making a hasty getaway. The pair have done several media interviews about the incident, and Landry has been nicknamed “le hero des megots’’ – “The Cigarette Butt Hero.”
