The COCO C2C Charity Cycle Challenge
How would you like to join COCO in a challenging sponsored team race through stunning scenery from one coast of England to the other, with fantastic prizes for the fastest riders?
All you need to take part is two other team members; you could recruit family members, work colleagues or friends. There are fantastic prizes for the winning team plus medals and T-shirts for all participants. Over 40 riders will set-off from Whitehaven on Saturday 25th August 2007 and, over two days, cycle through the Lake District and over the Pennines to the finish line on the North Sea Coast, with full support provided by COCO staff and volunteers.
It’s a fantastic opportunity to stay fit and healthy whilst raising money for COCO’s vital work with children who have had their early lives blighted by poverty and are in desperate need of our help. Minimum sponsorship is just £350 per person and this includes refreshments during the course, overnight accommodation and meals in Alston plus much, much more! We will also support you every step of the way in your fundraising efforts and training.
Places in this event are limited and this year’s event is expected to fill up fast! To find out more or reserve your place please visit www.coco.org.uk.
