Tickets for 'The Walker'
Northern Film & Media, in partnership with BAFTA and Empire Cinemas, is giving bdaily readers the chance to see director Paul Schrader’s much anticipated film ‘The Walker’ at the Empire Cinema in Newcastle’s Gate complex on Monday evening.
Starring Woody Harrelson and Kristen Scott Thomas, with a supporting cast that includes Lauren Bacall and Ned Beatty, Washington DC society ‘walker’ Carter Page III is drawn into a web of deceit and intrigue when he agrees to say he discovered the body of one of his client’s lovers, a leading liberal Senator. As his friends desert him and the net grows tighter, he must decide whether to turn on the friends who have deserted him to save his own skin.
There are two pairs of tickets to give away for Monday’s 6pm showing. To be in with a chance of winning a pair, simply email competitions@bdaily.info by 4pm this afternoon. Two entrants will be selected at random, and the winners will be notified by email. The prize is non-transferable and no cash alternative is offered. The editor’s decision is final. Please note that your data will only be used for the purposes of managing this competition and to notify you, where relevant, if you are a winner.
