Agency putting Customers First

One of the region’s Enterprise Agencies is celebrating after being awarded a prestigious quality standard for the second consecutive time. TEDCO was the first organisation in the North East to be awarded Customer First accreditation in 2005, and have now been reaccredited this year.

Customer First is a national standard in customer service, guaranteeing a minimum level of quality. The standard applies to TEDCO’s activities with pre-start, start-up and established businesses including their activities involving managed workspace. The aim of the award is to raise the quality of service delivery to customers by ensuring that organisations are assessed against, developed and supported to achieve the Customer First standard.

Keith Ramsay, Chief Executive, Customer First UK, said: “We’re delighted that TEDCO have achieved the Customer First Standard for the second time. Their achievement recognises their strong commitment to delivering customer service excellence to businesses across the region. We recognise TEDCO as an outstanding example of best practice in the North East and look forward to developing a stronger relationship with the team in the future to further enhance and promote the Customer First Standard.”

Doug Scott, Chief Executive of TEDCO, said: “This is great news for our staff, partners and most of all our customers. To be seen as a best practice case study is a fantastic accolade for everyone involved with TEDCO. We have always held customer service in the highest regard and we are pleased to be awarded Customer First status for the second consecutive time.”
