Rising demand for HR staff sparks business idea
A rising demand for professional HR staff linked to an increasingly compensation-led culture sparked off a business idea for recruitment specialist Mark Ions, who has launched Exclusive Human Resources, a North East-based recruitment consultancy specialising in the HR sector.
Based at Design Works in Gateshead and covering the whole of Teesside, Cumbria, and Tyne and Wear, Exclusive Human Resources services include permanent HR recruitment, interim HR recruitment and professional HR consultancy services. The company has already secured several big name clients and recorded over 700 views on its website at www.exclusivehr.com in less than one month of trading.
Mark said: “It’s time for recruitment companies to raise their game and prove that they are interested in more than just filling seats if the profession is to be taken seriously. I believe we are the first independent recruitment consultancy to specialise purely in the HR sector, and that a professional approach combined with a personal service is what organisations are looking for.”
Mark’s solicitor, Jonathan Stokes of Jonathan Stokes Solicitors, said: “In an increasingly litigious world where employees are more aware of their rights and new legislation continues to come out of the UK and Europe, having professional HR people in place is essential if an employer is to keep up to date with legislation and practices, and avoid costly lawsuits and tribunals.”
