Northumbrian Water taps into 2020 expertise
A North East CCTV firm has been awarded a major contract with Northumbrian Water. The utility has commissioned North Shields based security specialists 2020 Vision to provide a major overhaul to its surveillance systems at both its Pity Me head office and Washington sites.
2020 Vision will supply, install and maintain a complete networked CCTV structure across both sites with a total of 36 cameras being installed. The upgrade will provide centralised management surveillance in order to further protect Northumbrian Water staff, visitors and property. It will use the very latest in digital recording technology.
Peter Houlis, managing director of 2020 Vision, said: “We are delighted to have secured such a prestigious contract. Security is extremely important for a company as large as Northumbrian Water and it is testament to the reputation of 2020 Vision that we have been selected to implement this project. It further adds to the company’s growing profile in the blue chip sector.”
2020 Vision was established fifteen years ago, and has provided security in environments such as hospitals, casinos, universities, sports stadia, government offices and even a seabird island.
