Further expansion for digital consultancy
A North East-based consultancy firm set up by two ‘digital divas’ has expanded into new offices following a successful first 14 months in business. Further Consultancy, which launched in June last year and specialises in managing projects for technology firms to ensure they stay within budget and on time (as well as and the public sector organisations who support them), has moved into new offices at Gateshead International Business Centre. The company was previously based in Durham.
Judith Peacock, one of Further’s directors, said: “The new office has everything we needed as a base for our operations, a dynamic and vibrant atmosphere, a great mix of companies, excellent facilities and robust support services from the centre’s management team. “We’ve added some high profile organisations to our client list, such as The North East Regional Portal, Digital City, The Princes Trust and One NorthEast, and even more importantly we’re getting huge amounts of enjoyment out of the exciting projects were working on.”
The duo built up their knowledge and experience working on major projects for organisations such as the North East’s digital centre of excellence, Codeworks; the DTI; the Small Business Service; ICI; Occidental; and EMAP Performance, as well as working with internet development agencies throughout the UK.
