North East agency 'just did it' for Nike
A Newcastle based communications agency has created an innovative delegates pack and on-site graphics for sportswear manufacturer Nike’s summer 2008 product range launch. Guerilla was approached by Nike to develop the idea after they were impressed with the perfect bound ‘coffee table’ book the agency created for the famous brand’s last sales conference.
The pack includes key style swatches and a branded USB wrist band, featuring an interactive game with hundreds of questions based on Nike brand heritage, sports culture, women’s fitness, football and running.
Claire Hodgson, Retail Marketing Manager at Nike, said: “The brief was challenging as Guerilla had to come up with an innovative communication material that would add to the conference theme of being a leader in your field. The game Guerilla has devised is interactive and engaging, Nike is very pleased with the end result and how smoothly the process went.”
Geoff Foots, Creative Director at Guerilla, said: “We wanted to create a suite of marketing collateral that would add another dimension to the conference as well as having value once it is all over. The game is fun, but has a serious purpose, to engage and bring out the competitive edge in the Nike sales team.”
Head of New Media, Roddy Lang said: “The game shows the innovative approach Guerilla uses in its work. We dedicated a great deal of time to this project and it has definitely paid off. The creative team at Guerilla worked hard to make sure the execution was right and we are very happy with the final outcome.”
