HR support division is catalyst for growth

North East recruitment firm +catalyst has taken “a major step forward” with the launch of their new HR Support Division. The HR Support Division will enable +catalyst to build sustainable long term relationships with their clients, including companies such as J Barbour & Sons Ltd, Tanfield Food Company Ltd, Adderstone Group, Lloyd Motors and Lloyd Ltd.

Recently appointed Associate, Coreen Bone, was instrumental in supporting +catalyst to set up this service. A consultant and former HR Director to telecoms business Fone Logistics, Coreen has recent experience of rapid growth, maximizing success and implementing company reshaping plans. A Main Board Director for Connexions Northumberland Limited, Coreen specialises in recruitment, retention, compensation and benefits, policies and procedures, employee relations, performance management and training and development.

Coreen said: “When looking for work, I identified a gap in the market for HR and business support on a short term basis. Traditional agencies tend to offer assignments of 6-9 months. I believe all businesses; particularly SMEs need shorter-term, more affordable help. At +catalyst we intend to fill this gap which will also create a competitive advantage.”

Paul Wilson, Director of +catalyst said: “Our new HR Support Service launches with a free introductory event on 18 October at Central Square, Newcastle. Coreen will present on how HR can improve the bottom line and by attending you can also obtain a free HR health check. Forty free offer places for the event are available by contacting us on 0191 477 2333.”
