Bursaries for Boro projects
Media projects in Middlesbrough are being given the chance to apply for funding. Middlesbrough Council’s Media Routes project is giving away £500 for media based projects.
The Bursary is for 13 - 19 year olds who live in Middlesbrough who have a creative vision in Animation, Film, Scriptwriting or Radio production or broadcasting. Those who apply can use the funds to pay for cameras, software, mp3 recorders, travel expenses to media festivals and any other costs or equipment that may be needed to bring the work to life.
All awardees will also receive supervision from a media specialist within their chosen field.
Once the work is finished it will be shown on the media routes website – www.mediaroutes.org.uk – and be part of the final closing gala.
For more information contact Laura, Lisa or Scott on 01642 729086, or email info@mediaroutes.org.uk.
Media Routes is support by Middlesbrough Council, Media Box, Playing for Success, Study Support Centre, Middlesbrough City Learning Centre and Study Support Middlesbrough.
