Rally Champ opens £1m motorstore
British Rally Championship driver Guy Wilks is racing up to Gateshead today for the launch of a performance motorstore.
Performance tuning and styling centre Revolution is celebrating its relocation to a purpose-built site called Revolution HQ on Clock Mill Road, Gateshead, with a VIP party.
The North East-based company has been in business for 10 years and managing director Glenn Campbell and his wife Lisa have invested over £1 million in the new store. The new premises will officially open to the public on Saturday 10 November.
Glenn said: “During the last 10 years, we’ve worked hard to make Revolution one of the most respected, trusted and accomplished tuners and mail order specialists in the UK. “It is thanks to the support and loyalty of our customers here in the region, nationally and internationally that we have been able to grow the business and invest in this massive new HQ, which is bigger and better on every level with the very latest technology and facilities available anywhere in Europe.”
The new one-acre site houses 4 fitting bays, a team of technicians and an in-house call centre.
Guy Wilks said: “Revolution is a thriving international business based here in the North East, which is a credit to Glenn’s commercial vision and drive not to mention a feather in the cap for the region. I’d like to wish him every success in the future.”
