A small fysh nets big things with award nomination
A North East female entrepreneur has been shortlisted in the Fresh Digital Awards 2007 pitching her against a multinational digital communications company.
angelfysh internet marketing, run by Lisa Forster, has reached the final two in the Freshest Web Hosting category at the Fresh Digital Awards along with international digital communications company, Reading Room.
Lisa, 36, is managing director of angelfysh internet marketing, a company which has been trading for 10 months and now has over 300 clients. angelfysh specialises in web support services and search engine optimisation (SEO) and has been shortlisted for the award because of Lisa’s jargon-free approach to web hosting as well as for the range and quality of the support services offered including statistical tracking for websites, easy to follow help sheets and out of hours telephone support.
angelfysh is now competing for the title of Freshest Web Hosting against international company Reading Room which has been trading for over 10 years and has offices in London, Manchester, Canberra and Sydney.
Lisa said: “I’m delighted to have reached this stage in the awards - there are hundreds of entries to the Fresh Awards each year so I think it’s a great achievement to be in the final two for this category. I’m a female entrepreneur in a field which is usually dominated by men, and as angelfysh has only been trading for 10 months, it is incredible to be given this level of recognition. I’m keeping my fingers crossed that I can win the award instead of the international company as that would really be a fantastic achievement for angelfysh.”
The Fresh Digital Awards will be held in Manchester on 29 November 2007.
