North East firm helps football cross continents

A Cleveland-based advertising and marketing service company has been awarded an international charity contract as its latest deal. askste.com of Yarm will provide online and offline advertising, marketing and brand design services to the Coaches Across Continents scheme.

Sir Bobby Robson, who lends his support to the scheme, said: “Thousands of young people and communities across the world will benefit from the sporting education that Coaches across Continents provides. This is a charity that deserves financial support from governments, businesses, the football community and individuals.”

With the support of leading global football organisations and personalities like Sir Bobby Robson and ESPN announcer Seamus Malin, Coaches across Continents funds experienced football educators to work in developing regions.

Using an online “Chance to Choice Curriculum”, they use digital, 3D and video sessions to educate through football on cultural, health, life, and social skills. The curriculum includes games and practices that address issues like Football for Female Empowerment, Football for Health and Wellness, Football Skills for Life, Football in the Streets and Professional Football Development.
