Business technology partnership hits the right note

Two North East technology experts have teamed up in a partnership that is set to deliver wide-ranging benefits throughout Europe. Newcastle-based ICT solutions firm Synergiq has joined forces with datacentre hosting and IT specialists PCI Services, from Sunderland. The two have come together over Synergiq’s new product, Mobliq.

Mobliq is an electronic data collection and transmission system created to meet the needs of organisations managing field-based data and staff, such as couriers, telecoms technicians or energy surveyors.

Ken Taylor, Synergiq’s sales director, said: “We knew there was a real gap in the market for an affordable, user-friendly solution that would transform an unwieldy and potentially risky business infrastructure into a fast, efficient and cost effective operation, no matter how many field-based staff were involved and no matter how complex the organisation’s needs. “Many of the leading names in sectors such as energy, telecoms and courier services have been quick to recognise the business benefits Mobliq brings and we foresee particularly high demand over the coming months.”

Clients who sign up to Mobliq have their back office and hosting functions handled through PCI Services’ secure data centre situated in the e-volve Business Centre at Rainton Bridge, which is equipped with servers protected by the latest in technology tools and systems.

Joe Olabode, one of the founders of PCI Services, said: “Ken and I have worked very successfully together in the past and many of our current companies’ individual strengths and specialisms complement each other. “The launch of Mobliq has provided the perfect platform for a collaborative approach, allowing us to extend our reach by offering a range of new services to the benefit of both our client bases.

“We are delighted to be part of the team behind a new flagship mobile working solution that is set to transform the efficiency of field-based operations all over the region.“Â
