New year, new jobs, new clients

A North East firm has started 2008 by announcing the creation of a further fifty new jobs in the region following the completion of a multi-million pound contract.

2007 saw the workforce at Stockton-based Reflex Vehicle Solutions double in size to and managing director, John Collins, announced plans to treble the size of the company over the next three years. Reflex has recently signed a four-year contract with a major UK-based PLC company, worth in the region of £5.5 million, which will allow the business to create fifty new jobs in 2008 alone.

Reflex this month celebrates its fourth year in business. In that time, it has grown to become one of the top ten rental companies in the UK operating in excess of six thousand, five hundred cars and light commercial vehicles. As well as its headquarters at Stockton-on-Tees, Reflex has depots in Middlesbrough, Oxfordshire, Glasgow and close to the M25 in London.

John Collins said: “This is yet another fantastic opportunity for Reflex and further demonstrates the commitment and expertise of the team we have in place. “It is the dedicated work ethic of all of our staff which has secured this major deal and is allowing us to create fifty new jobs on Teesside. To start 2008 this way is a tremendous achievement and will help us to again exceed our growth plans.”
